Boyle County 28 Frederick Douglass 7

Featured Replies

Final. Congratulations to the Rebels total dominated the Broncos. The only positive is that Douglass held them 22 below their season average. The Boyle defense is the best I've seen this year and Quisenberry is the best player in the state and only a junior. Boyle will have to have an off night or sustain some injuries for anyone in my opinion to beat them in 4A.

If they are not the #1 team in the 4A RPI that tells you all you need to know about the KHSAA's RPI sysyem.

Yes but the state needs to use Calpreps and it would be 10 times better.

Domination!  I’m not sure if FD had a hundred yards offense.  O Line handled the Broncos D front.

Boyle’s Defense came to play tonight.  Gave up 1 firstdown by penalty.  Had 7 - 3 and outs.  Douglas had 47 total yards for the game.

Last drive Boyle got the ball on the 3 yard line and 18 running plays later scored on a 10:55 minute drive.

To think this is the closest score so far in the series.

Corbin had a whole section full of coaches and players rooting for the Broncos. Boyle's defense was absolutely dominant. Quisenberry and Bodner are the real deal.

That’s about as dominant as you can be…

Douglas is a good football team. Rebels are way better. Go ahead and crown them. Wow

Going to be some RPI watching tonight.

Congratulations to Boyle! In my opinion it’s very hard to argue that they aren’t the best team statewide of all teams.

Wow! Big win for Boyle County. They are looking like a runaway freight train that can't be stopped.

I would think this win would give Boyle County a good bump. Here is the latest RPI, including adding the appeal win for Corbin, making them 10-0. It does not show Boyle's win tonight yet.
