Teaser Preview: As the regular season starts to wind down, Dixie Heights and Cooper's resumès are still highlighted more by the quality of their losses than their wins.

Cooper has one win over a team with a winning record, and that was over 5-4 Bardstown in Week 1. That's still one more than Dixie's got.

Beating the .500 Colonels won't alter that statistic for the Jags, but at least DH is ranked… for now.

Dixie Heights needs this win to solidify their place in the top ten. They'd better pack their defense for Union, because the Jags have averaged 45 points per game on the home turf behind the most potent pitch and catch trio in 5A, if not the state. 

Cam O'Hara is working on perhaps the greatest passing season in program history, aided by Isaiah Johnson and Austin Alexander, a dominant receiver duo. 

Armani Gregg (2,036 yards of total offense and and 28 TDs) and Brach Rice (123 tackes/26 TFL/10 sacks) will try to rally the Edgewood cavalry for battle.

It may have just been a type. However, the Cooper Wide Receivers name is Isaiah Johnson not Thompson.

My bad. Someone will get that corrected.

Should be a really good game! Might be a high scoring affair like Cooper/Highlands.

Assuming this game has district playoff implications. What's that look like?

Winner is second in the district. 

This game has not only district implications but also gives a more clearer picture of the 5A playoff set-up between the sister districts. I think Dixie has played a better schedule and will win this game in a close one. 

This should be a fun one to watch!

I can’t believe Cooper has lost games. Those D1 athletes are dominant.

The Cooper loss to Ryle is the one puzzling result for me.

Yes, it happens. Another example for me of why one game doesn't define a team or their season.

For sure and I would go a step further and maybe throw out one game for each team because we all have bad days. But, if you throw out one game and things still don't make sense, then it requires further examination.
