  • Until Iran gets smacked in the face this thing is going to go on and on, and get bigger and bigger.

  • I hear you. Just like everything else law enforcement encounters you would have to train everyone up and provide them (or the Fire Department) with the tools to safely extricate any of these criminals

The ones with their arms in concrete barrels...lift them into a public maintenance truck, move them to a park somewhere and drop them off. Let them figure out how to get out of the barrels themselves.

The missile attack on Israel is live on TV right now.  Here we go...

At a rail station I believe.

Hopefully the US and Israel are able to repel the attack with minimal impact. That might prevent further escalation/retaliation by Israel.

Once this war by Israel ends, what will they gain? Maybe 3-5 years of a safer Israel? These attacks are creating more terrorists every day.

Flights are avoiding Israeli airspace like the plague today.

What would you have them do? I'm not arguing, just curious how they should deal with Hezbollah differently.

War ends by Israel?  They didn't start it.

These attacks creating more terrorists every day are probably very similar to all of America's drone attacks of the past creating more terrorists every day.  And many of those drone attack created terrorists have probably come through our wide open southern border over the last few years and they are waiting for the right time to kill as many Americans as they can.

Finally, maybe if Israel nukes Iran and takes out their nuclear program I think it gives maybe 10-20 years of a safer Israel.

I don't want to take away from the seriousness here but some of it does look like a science fiction movie.  With that said, if I was taking that video, or in Israel period, I would be very concerned one of those is going to hit me.

Reports say 400 missiles launched at Israel, several were shot down but reports are that many did strike targets.

Unverified reports that an Israeli Air base was struck and left inoperable. Reports that as many as 20 F-35 Stealth fighters were destroyed. Again this is unverified but widely reported on X.

I asked Google how much F35's cost:

It is the most advanced and expensive fighter jet in the world, with a total program cost of $400 billion and a unit cost of $89.2 million for the F-35A variant, $115.5 million for the F-35B variant, and $107.7 million for the F-35C variant.

I have no problem with Israel defending themselves. And Israel did not start the war.

I do have a problem with indiscriminate attacks that have little to no regard for innocent civilians. Israel has gone overboard in their response. And to what end? This war will end no differently than the previous wars around Israel. A diplomatic solution is the only way a lasting peace has any chance.

The people attacking Israel are "Death to Israel" and "Death to America" groups.  I don't think there is a diplomatic solution this time.  At least not anytime soon.

And no problem at all with Israel wiping out those people.

To kill Nasrallah, Israel bombed a residential neighborhood. From what I have read, it looks like about 30 other people died in that attack and about 190 injured. How do we measure that? Let's assume most of those were innocent civilians. Is that OK? That is what I am struggling with.

I don't think they are looking to strike civilians like the other side is. But when your enemy hides within their own civilian population, it's hard to blame Israel when there is collateral damage. Hezbollah launches missiles and mortars from residential buildings and neighborhoods. It's horrible that any innocent people get killed, but it's hard to blame one side when the other uses their civilians as human shields.

This photo sums it up, pretty well.
