Dropping 12 on Fordow was probably twice the amount of MOP's most experts were predicting would be used.  I heard a lot of 4 MOP and some 6 MOP speculation, but not a dozen.

Agree. Trying to get it done in one mission. The amount of MOP's dropped is why they needed 7 B2's. The MOP's are so heavy that a B2 can only carry 2 of them. And a B2 is the only aircraft that can carry a MOP.

I appreciate this info, VoR.  

Something I have noticed in the coverage of this is all the experts that are put on with no real script and they will cover this fact at least a couple of times every interview, or at least they were up until yesterday.  That is also what I was getting at with maybe 4 or 6 MOPs being used.  Most commentators would say each B2 can carry 2 30,000lb MOP's so it will take two or three B2's to raid Fordow.  

Interesting article floating around. Quoting someone from Russia that said other countries are willing to step in and supply Iran with nuclear warheads and that the production of nuclear weapons in Iran will CONTINUE.

That would be problematic, I think North Korea has made a similar statement. 

I think NK said because they are trying to be relevant. I think Russia said it as a future bargaining chip.

I guess that depends on whether or not these other countries actually exist and follow through with it. I can't imagine it being done publicly without severe scrutiny, severe sanctions and perhaps further intervention.

 

Early reports of 6 missiles being fired at US Base in Qatar. 

Another potential attack going on against US Forces in Iraq.

Qatar statement that they defeated Iraqi missiles and no one injured in Qatar.

Iran and Israel agree to a cease fire and end to hostilities, ending the conflict.

Hopefully this extends to Iranian proxies as well.

I think it's one of those hope for the best but plan for the worst situations.  It's good karma to throw out, but we still need the follow through.
