The US General in command of CENTCOM (The US Military Command over the Middle East) is in Israel discussing US aid in defending Israel from pending Iranian attacks. 

It is widely accepted that if Israel is ever attack via missiles, drones or aircraft directly from Iran, that they would strike back in kind. Reports are that the General is also discussing how the US could participate in these strikes.

Iran is expected to strike any time in retaliation for some of their soldiers being killed in strikes by Israel in Syria. Those strikes were in retaliation for drone/missile strikes coming out of Syria. 

This is the kind of thing that can spin out of control quickly.

And it's not gotten any better within the last 24 hours.  Media is reporting that Russia, India, UK and France have all issued travel warnings due to Israel-Iran tensions.

Also, Kuwait and Qatar, as well as Turkey now, are saying the US can't use their air space to retaliate on behalf of Israel, if and when Iran does attack. 

Iran just attacked Israel with several drone strikes...more drones thought to still be in route.

If these were launched from Iranian soil, I expect Israel to get fired up and strike back quickly. 

It is thought that the US would assist Israel if that were to happen.

Next 24 hours will be intense.

And reports now that Israel is saying their retaliation will be unprecedented. Not sure if true or not but man this could be bad.

I'd expect attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities.

It would be a mistake for Iran to use a nuke. Russia and China would likely stand back and let them get what's coming to them.

Not sure Iran would be the one to do it. I could see Israel getting to that point possibly. 

Iran is saying that as far as they are concerned this entire thing has concluded. 

It's like they fired off these drones and missiles to save face and show their country that they attacked Israel for the consulate bombing.

Iran seems to want to do the first part and hope they don't "Find Out."
