35-14 Beechwood

I just don't see a blowout. If Hayden is throwing that much today it's because the Tigers are down and need to catch up. Dixie can and will get to the QB. Managed to get a couple sacks against a good SK front, while forcing several turnovers. Last week sacked a very fast division one commit 5 times also while forcing turnovers. I see the Tigers attempting to win the time of possession aspect of the game by running the ball. This may be a defensive slugfest won by the last team who has the ball. I like Dixies chances to keep it close and win if they protect the football and avoid penalties.

From what I have seen from the Beechwood offense this year, almost everything you expect is wrong. Maybe the Tigers go to the game plan you outline, but that is not how they have played so far this year.

Haven’t read through the entire thread, but is there any TV coverage?

Dixie had a nice return on the kickoff. Beechwood picked the ball off on the 3td play and ran it back to Dixie’s 22 yard line. 

Beechwood threw an incomplete pass on 1st down. False start to move them back 5. 2nd down nice screen to make it 3rd and 6. Incomplete pass on 3rd down. Beechwood goes for it and Hayden throws a TD on 4th down. Couldn’t see who caught it.

7-0 Tigers

Dixie putting a nice drive by running it down Beechwood’s throat. They drop back to pass and the QB scrambled and lost the ball. Beechwood recovered.

First decent kick off coverage by Beechwood as Dixie has been starting almost at the 50 each possession till this one.
