How does Dixie look to you, say compared to the last couple of years?

Dixie had it 1st and 10 at the Beechwood 13 and fumbled the snap on first and got it back to the LOS. A screen pass that was stuffed and then a short pass on 3rd down. Dicie attempted a FG but missed it. 14-0 Tigers.

Beechwood drives across the 50 but Dixie’s D stiffens and stops them. Beechwood punts it and backs them up to their own 6 yard line.

92 yard TD run by Dixie on the 2nd play. 14-7 Tigers

As I typed that out, Dixie broke a 90ish yard TD so maybe just ignore me ?

Beechwood will have to figure out their run defense as they are being exposed.

Beechwood returns the kickoff to the 43 yard line. Very nice return.

Clay Hayden’s pass was tipped by receiver then intercepted by Dixie. Ran back to Beechwood 38

Beechwood just had them 3rd and long and let the QB run through several tackles to get a long gain. The next play Dixie TD tun. 14-14 we have a good one here folks. Beechwood tackling is atrocious. Better figure that out.

Beechwood struggled to tackle on that last drive.

Dixie ties it up at 14 with 5:05 in the half.

Beechwood’s line is just being pushed around.

You beat me to it. Dixie is getting serious pressure on every snap.

Blocked punt for a TD.

Dixie attempts the PAT...

3 and out for the Tigers and Dixie blocks the punt and recovers it for a TD. Brock Rice. 20-14 Colonels after the XP was missed.

And he shanks the PAT

20-14 Dixie. 3:49 left in the first half.

All the momentum is with the Colonels.
