I think that leaves at least two of my other keepers in play in the first three rounds, with Lamb probably the odd man out, even though I would likely have to “reach” for Chubb at 1.03 and Tee at 2.10, 

I’m still early in my research so I can’t give an informed answer.  Pollard went 7th round?

Yeah, last year with Zeke paid and healthy. I really only took him as a trade opportunity if Zeke went down, then when he did, I couldn’t let Pollard go.

I am in a few leagues but not as many as I used to be in.  I’m in a couple of free ones with co workers and my son.  My main league is a money league that is $150 to enter.  There are 12 of us.  
 

.5 PPR

.1 per pass completed 

.2 per rushing attempt 

QB points are not chopped 

1 point per 20 yards passed 

Bonus points for long TDs

Bonus points for 300+ and 400+ yards passing 

Bonus points for 200+ rushing/receiving yards

Yards allowed is rewarded and punished on defense

 

It’s high scoring and highly competitive league.  

Skins are paid out each week.  $50 for the weekly winner of the Skins category. 
 

Craziest year-2019

I won the league with a record of 5-8. 
 

I suffered the biggest blowout of the year.  242.7-134.4.  Biggest Blowout Win is a Skin category.  
 

My roster was injured from week 1 until about week 10.  Suddenly everyone got healthy and I went on a run to squeeze into the playoffs and ultimately win the league.  
 

The guy I faced in the finals was the guy who defeated me 242-7-134.4.  I got the last laugh.  That year was awesome. 
 

That year also highlighted that it is important to prepare and draft properly in fantasy football.  There is no way to control the injuries but I have more stories of my injured teams getting healthy and winning titles than I do of teams that dominated the regular season and then lose in the playoffs.  Very rarely will I dominate the regular season and playoffs so I always focus on making the playoffs and letting the chips fall where they may.

And yes, I will absolutely be running my FanDuel group as always.  I still love DFS way more than regular fantasy.

I am so tired of losing at DFS MLB.  I can’t wait to start donating at DFS NFL to switch it up.  I am very much looking forward to the DFS league.  I also enjoy it more than regular season long fantasy but they both have their place. 

We finally finalized and updated our league.  Draft is set for 9/4, online.  Should be another fun year.  It’s usually competitive but I do miss doing the in person drafting.

Someone from here should set up a cheap ($20-$50) league on one of the free league manager sites.   Do the draft online.  Use one of the cash apps to handle the money.  I bet it would be easy to recruit 8-16 BGP members to fill the league.  And one more thing, I would play, but I don’t want to run it.   Which is probably a popular opinion.

The BGP League was the most challenging season long fantasy league I ever played in.  Hate we don’t have it anymore.   
 

I’d be down to play but I ain’t running it.  Lol.  

Just did a mock draft trying a new strategy out.  I drafted my starters first, excluding the kicker, and then filled up my bench.  Most folks were on auto pick so that kind of ruins the validity of it but I’d like thoughts nonetheless.  Lol.  
 

In my big money league I draft 11th so this is me picking 11th   Davante was my first pick   Garrett Wilson was my second choice   Passed on Henry, Jacobs and Chubb. 

OK.....PPR league.....one keeper.....just as a general question.....keep Lamar Jackson, who I think is going to have a monster year in the new Baltimore offense, with his new weapons around him.....or Amon-Ra St. Brown, who catches everything thrown to him and is a reception magnet for Detroit?    

Last year, I would have leaned towards St. Brown (and I would have been right), but I don't know this year.   The league is QB-friendly, and the new Baltimore offense is going to enhance Lamar's passing and rushing totals.....

I also have Breece Hall, and online "gurus" are saying to keep him.....but I'm not sold on Hall, who will see Dalvin Cook join him in the backfield, plus a highly-regarded rookie, and who also has to prove he is back from the ACL tear.....

Which one is more likely to be there in the 2nd? That’s going to depend on your league. Do they go QB-crazy or will you be able to get one later? 
 

In general, I’d keep St. Brown and target A-Rod, Lawrence, maybe even Daniel Jones, after establishing a starting WR & RB group.
