I don't disagree but it seems in line with what they did with the Schrands.  I think all 3 of those candidates have a negative side and not really a whole lot of positives.

My understanding was Detzel was done coaching and just coached freshman this year because they were in a bind.  Unless feelings have changed or I was very misinformed I don’t see him coaching.  Just my opinion.   

I am not in the know even though I am a parishioner there. What they could do is hire an Interim Head Coach during the period of time that Casey needs to tend to his family and bring him back at that point. Just a thought.

I have heard that the decision has been made and we can expect an announcement by this weekend!

UH OH!  It sounds like there was a disruption in this announcement.  One of the money people at HC doesn't agree with the decision.

I have heard that they were only halfway through interviews but have a couple of solid candidates.  I do not have any names though. 

As long as there's no hang ups in the background check, a lot of you are going to get your wish this week and some ? are not going to be happy.

If nothing changes between now and Friday, Ricardo Johnson will be the next head coach at Holy Cross.  Some of the powers that be were against it somewhat but gave in to the decision.

That would be a pretty solid hire.   Good young coach breathing some life and interest into a district that Covington Catholic has dominated for  little while.  The 35th needs another storyline.
