I would think that, among other ways, a bona fide change of address would be among the ways that someone from Ohio could become eligible to play in northern Kentucky in a mid-year transfer scenario. And with it being pre-season for basketball, I don't see how his basketball eligibility would realistically be any different from an athletics point-of-view than a transfer that takes place over the summer.

I could see that.  
 

Totally off topic of the transfer, I could not be more excited to watch Hussey play this as I really believe He is going to take a major step as a Senior.  He has always been a lot of fun to key in on and watch during games, especially when He is on Defense

Not total fake news but...let's say partial fake news.  Heard he is a sophomore and transferred from St. X and am told he is baseball only but I guess that could change.  New school new sport?   Also was told this was not an athletic move.

The roster is up on KHSAA. I did notice Miller, the transfer from Arkansas is not listed.

That's not the final roster. Miller and Wermuth both will be added to it.

My guess would be:

G - Hussey

G - McGillis

G - Harney (once football ends)

F - Bradshaw (once football ends)

C - Miller

Until football ends it will most likely be Wermuth for Harney and Stewart for Bradshaw

Hussey, McGillis, and Miller are locks….
