Final. A great game by the Cats on both ends of the floor. They shot the ball great today. 

Beatdown city.  That was really fun to watch. 

Handle Vandy like they should, and let’s just see what happens against Arkansas. I don’t expect a win in that game, but if they could get it, would be huge.

Offense was great, defense was great. That was a great game and just a very fun game to watch! 

If they play like they did the last 23 minutes they will be a handful.

If UK wins at least one of their two games next week, they will clinch a double bye and at least the third seed for the SEC tournament. With Texas A&M losing today, UK also still has an outside chance at the two seed.

I personally think if UK can win out that they’ll get it. I don’t feel like A&M beats Bama in that last game. 

Excellent game today for Kentucky.  I'm rather confident that we've established who the starting 5 are to end the season.

As for the SEC tournament.  As long as UK can get a top 4 seed that's all I'm worried about.  I think it would do a lot for their confidence to finish the regular season on a win streak though, especially at Arkansas.  

Texas A&M isn't losing to Ole Miss. UK needs to beat Vanderbilt and lock up the 3 seed. That mean they won't face Alabama or Tennessee until the championship game, if they all win.

Something I said back in December, but this season goes as far as Cason Wallace is able to carry the Cats. And he is damn good. He and Oscar have a great connection on the pick and roll. Wallace has a little SGA in him. Dude controls the entire pace of the game.

I agree. I have been impressed with Wallace since day 1. He gets it done on both ends of the floor. Best UK freshman since __________?

Not sure where I'd put him in terms of best UK freshman since.  I do think he's carried the biggest load and carried it well, since I don't know when without looking back.  The injuries and UK's, or should I say Wallace's response this past month, has been most impressive.  

 

With that said, Reeve's has played great as a starter as well and I think he and Wallace have helped each other develop their roles on this team the past month.

Hmm. That's hard to quantify. Plus it is hard to gauge since he wasn't put into the PG role until several games into the SEC season.

I'm also starting to see a path for Toppin to maybe play at the next level. It would have to be as a "three and D" guy, but I can see it.
