Does Prepspin do the boy's state tournament? - Yes

Featured Replies

Hello again all. I'm down south here until May and was wondering if Prepspin does the boys state tourney? I watched all the football finals and it was a pleasant experience.

No they don't, but you can watch them via KHSAA TV by subscribing for a month.

PrepSin was there next to us this morning. I think there is a charge per game. Holy Cross Radio will be there covering our boys & girls games all week with audio only.

I think he's referring to the Sweet Sixteen.

I reached out to the King of Stream and he told me the following:

Yes, we do both boys and girls Sweet 16s live on PrepSpin from Rupp Arena. Games will be available at go.PrepSpin.com just like football was. Since 2020 we have had the rights to live stream on PrepSpin all state tournament events. We share the revenue with the KHSAA and it has made them extra money. Our version is a upgrade to the NFHS Network option. Our option is $14.95 per game or they can purchase a tournament All Access Pass for a price to be determined by the KHSAA.

We also have the All A Classic on all week from EKU.

They do a significantly better job with their broadcast than the KHSAA does with NFHS.

On Prespspin it says if I buy the All A pass it’s 49.95 but it says that it expires in 1 year does that mean I will have access to the Sweet 16 this year as well? Does anyone know?

Based on what I added above I would say the Sweet 16 is a separate, independent purchase.

It means you’ll have access to the live video and then replay of the All A for 1 year from purchase. Sweet 16 will be separate, as will any other Prepspin broadcast that you have to purchase.

Ok thanks for the clarification!

I may be mistaken but I think both PrepSpin and NFHS carry the March Sweet 16. I watched it on NFHS last year.

Correct.  They are required to stream on NFHS (in 720p).  PrepSpin has it at 1080p and is usually a few minutes ahead of NFHS.

$15 bucks a game to stream? No thanks…
