This is amazing: For the first time, #Bills S Damar Hamlin is addressing the team via Facetime. The breathing tube is out, and he’s spent the morning speaking to various teammates on Facetime. Now, he’s delivering a message to the entire group, I’m told.

I would think they need to first pin point exactly what caused the episode on the field.  Then try to determine the over all damage done to his body.  Then come up with a game plan for recovery and ultimately see how that recovery plan goes.  Hamlin surviving would seem like the first step in what's to come.  Glad the news has continued to be nothing but positive so far.

One NFL network show said he could be released from the hospital very soon.

 

His recovery is a testament to the team immediately starting CPR, and most importantly, having a defibrillator at the scene.  Such an awful thing to happen, but he had the best of the best caring for him.  It is so great to have a feel good story that the whole nation shares.

Well said. Aside from already being at an emergency room, there isn’t a more better suited place to be than where Hamlin was when he had his event.
