Seems to me the Middlesboro QB needs to worry about the Corbin DB's and not Cashen.

Hounds should be loaded with a big experienced line and a stable of good backs and receivers. If they can avoid the injury bug they should have a very impressive season. With a little luck and a lotta hard work they can have a chance to play on the carpet.

Speaking of a big line, just how big is Jesse Hayden now? He looks to be about 6'2" or 6'3" and over 300 lbs. that seems to be distributed very well. Nolan, Taz, Martin, Hayden, Nantz, Taylor, Lewallen, .....are the key to how much success the Hounds enjoy this year.

I would put Jesse at about 6'2 and around 325 if I were guessing.

Can someone please explain to me that if Corbin is supposed to be so good this year they would not want to face Bell County. Don't give me the scheduling problems because I would think that of the 5 non district games Bell and Middlesboro should be the top 2 priorities.

The 2 teams are going to be the best they have been in the last 3 or 4 years anyways. Its a shame that they are not playing! Both teams have a whole lot coming back to work with.

You would have to ask Coach Jewell and Coach Hilton..........therein lies the problem and the answer. I don't see these two meeting again until one or the other is no longer on the sideline, but I could be wrong......... and I hope I am.

I do know that Coach Hilton really wants to play this game. Coach Jewell is the problem I assume. I know Jewell and Hilton arent the best of friends right now, but they should atleast allow the kids from their schools to play each other. It is not about Coach Jewell or Coach Hilton, its about the players.

I think you are right, it should be a very fun year for Corbin Football.

Leslie Co. plays all three this year. The game at Leslie last year with Bell was one of the best games I seen all year. The district championship game at Middlesboro was a barn burner too. Look for the same kind of game in each of these games this year. This, as far as competition, is one of the toughest districts in the state in any class, in my opinion.
