Coach Payne gets his first win. Took a herculean effort by El Ellis who had 30 pts and 10 rebounds.

Congrats to Kenny, his staff and the Cardinal players on win #1.   Now that that pressure is off, have fun and get better.

When it became clear leading up to this game that WKU would be favored, it became even clearer that WKU would screw it up.  No one underachieves like Stansbury.

Watching then end of this one makes it clear that the first thing Payne needs to do at practice tomorrow is take every single player and show them where the shot clocks are.   Dribbling out time up 10 with a minute left is fine.   Dribbling out time up 10 with 4 minutes left, not so good.

Cards were impressive down the stretch hitting all of their free throws and not giving WKU a shot to close the lead.

Glad they finally got the monkey off their back, but now it’s time to turn one into two.

Don't look now, but Louisville just started a 3 game win streak.

I watched a little bit of this one, I thought it was pretty clear U of L was going to win.

Congrats Coach Payne!

I guess you could call it a gut feeling.

I'm not going there.
