I agree. Maybe the line of thinking was, back in the run heavy days, if you had more first downs you were the better team? Idiotic to begin with though.

Looks like the stands are in place, are they going to start on Newport,s now?

Everything looks great but it is weird seeing the press box by its self on the far side of the field.

I may be on my own here, but I kind of like those old goal posts. I would have loved to see them recycle those or incorporate them in the new build.
