Woodford started things off in impressive manner...0-0 at the end of the first quarter, and 7-7 at halftime, but the Broncos defense came into their own in the second half, despite a myriad of penalties called on Douglass in the game.

Wofo's season comes to an end, and Douglass advances to the semifinals.

 

 

Final from "The Farm". It looks like with the Scott Co. loss the Broncos will be taking on Owensboro in the State semi-finals at Douglass.

Really? If so that’s huge for Red Devils fans. Not that’s Southwestern is an easy out by any stretch of the imagination and probably favored if they do play O. But huge in the sense of a potential state rematch with Bowling Green in the state finals esp with the history between the 2 programs or even a rematch in the finals with a Douglass squad that has ended the Red Devils season 2 of the last 3 yrs.

I would love to see an Owensboro/BG final again.

For all the folks questioning Woodford County most of the year and their high ranking with their schedule. I think they showed tonight they were justified in their ranking this year.

Haven't heard anything yet I think maybe just an ankle sprain but not sure.

Close, challenging game to get the Broncos in the proper perspective... Couldn't have been better timing.  

This next game, I highly doubt that Douglass will have this amount of penalties, as there won't be the same level of jawing with Owensboro. Just go out and play.
