Steelers. Just because they're my team and that's what you do.

Jim, I’m with you. But we are at the bottom of every offensive category. Can’t stop the run or the pass. The Saints were depleted today.   TJ will help, but no Minkah and no Myles Jack spells doom. Bengals should easily airmail them by 2 scores.

The Steelers were basically the same team to start the season and they beat us at home.  While I do tend to think the Bengals are going to take it to them this time I am not confident in that because they are the Steelers and they already beat us once.

Is Minkah definitely still out this week? Having Watt back definitely gives them a fighting chance. With that said if the Bengals can get out to an early lead and not be trailing like they were last game, then the Bengals should be fine.

From the Bengals:

We have cleared DT DJ Reader to return to practice.

From CincyJungle.com:

The Cincinnati Bengals today cleared nose tackle DJ Reader and safety Brandon Wilson to return to practice. Reader is designated for return from the Reserve/Injured list, as Wilson is from the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.

Today starts a 21-day period during which both players may practice with the team without counting against the 53-player active roster. Both are eligible to be activated to the roster at any time during that period.

He had laparoscopic surgery to remove appendix last week.  I'd guess one more week.  Only Hines Ward is tough enough to come back for the next contest.

Without looking it up, it seems funny how over the years they have split and those wins for each were on the road.

I agree.  The Steelers beating the Bengals never surprises me but when we beat them on the road that makes me scratch my head.  Any given Sunday.

One big problem for the Steelers is they will be without their bonafide Bengal killer Boswell. That kicker they had against the Saints was horrible . I think the Steelers will get their 17 to 20 points but if the Bengals are on it will be a long day  for the Steeler Nation.
