With some of the teams he had probably. Maybe not recently.

Highlands had the same problem most NKY teams had this year. NO SPEED. And that's nothing you can overcome by coaching.

First TD for Scott Co. Bang Bang call. Would love instant replay and a pylon cam view ?. This was just one of a few very odd plays/calls. Wish the season wasn’t over but Proud of these Birds!!

Speed wasn’t the issue in this game. Speed edge went to HHS. The Big fullback 39 was the issue.

Highlands does not have a ton speed, and did not have the edge on speed last night. If calls are being mentioned, the momentum of the intercepter on the botched FG clearly took him into the endzone as he caught the ball on the 1.5 yard line. I thought 2 PI’s on SC were extremely questionable as well. 

#5 in white was the fastest player on the field last night - IMO

Special teams were anything but great and I have true knowledge of the game.  If I remember correctly you said the frosh would be undefeated.  Special teams were “special” only when Mr Noon was making things happen.

I can’t comment on HHS team speed. I know this Scott Co team is slower than their more recent teams. Now some might not agree with that. They didn’t have the speed they had with Hamilton, Martin, Bronson and the last time they played HHS. Now they will fly to the ball on defense. They come off the ball extremely well. They just don’t currently have the same Scott Co speed they’ve had. Now that will change over the next year or so. 
 

HHS was the faster of the two teams across the board. They had the speed to get guys deep. They didn’t really give up big plays due to speed.

Down 14 the Birds fought like pit bulls to get back in it. The Birds were one drive short at winning the game. Play calling on the last drive was terrible to say the least. 

I just want to tell the Birds that I'm proud of them, they kept fighting until the end. 

Might want to find a better OC before next season.

As longs as his Dad is the HC, the OC is going nowhere.
