Louisville will finally learn its penalty for Katina Powell/Brian Bowen/FBI nonsense.

Better late than never?

If there's ever been an argument for "time served..."

The cloud will finally dissipate. Schools have used this in recruiting against Louisville last several years. Can tell kids now in HS that they can come to Louisville and not have to be cocerned with tourney ban.

It's really crazy it's lasted this long. No one could have ever imagined this. The longevity alone is more punishment than could ever be handed down.

Unfortunately that is how the "powers that be" sometimes handle the accused.  They drag it on forever with a sledgehammer over their head, often times while they rot in jail.

I thought the Katina stuff is what took the banner and put them on probation to begin with and this was just the Brian Bowen thing while already being on probation.

Saw on Twitter (sorry can't find it now) that Rick may get it worse than Louisville. If so, I feel that's how it should be. At this point no one at Louisville left that deserves punishment.

Completely undeserving for the present team and coach.

Meanwhile Bill Self is suspended for four games. How does this get equated with what has happened to Pitino and others?

What we learn from all this is be like North Carolina and Kansas.   Just tell the NCAA to pound sand.   Don't be like Louisville and cooperate.
