If this was the case there would never be a good regular season game because coaches wouldn’t schedule games that might cause them to have a losing season.

Answers from both would be TBD. North Defense didn't look bad in first half against Central but everything fell apart in 2nd half that game. That team is Jackal and Hyde, you don't know which one is going to show up on Friday

Why not RPI the entire playoff system and do a selection Sunday each week of who you will play. If worried about travel distances, least make some of these matchups interesting. Also add, why not use a neutral site if going from one end of the state to the other? Sure, there are plenty of fields in between lol.

I hate RPI. Think it’s bad for football. Hurts teams that may have Cinderella year.

Why not just take the top two from each district? With six classes that still puts about half of the teams in the state in the playoffs correct? Makes the field seem a bit stronger to me. Think about 5A this year.... Highlands vs Scott County, Cov Cath vs Frederick Douglass round one. That's big boy playoff football.... probably be round 2 lol.

Stop with the participation awards, take the top 2 teams from a district and start the playoffs. Kentucky messed up going to 6 classes but that won’t be changed anytime in the near future.

But what if the top 4 teams in that same district are better then the other districts.Would you rather see those top two teams just roll through everyone or have some good second and third round games be hard fought battles.

There will always be what if’s. If a 3rd place in one district is better than 2nd in another district, that’s just bad luck. No way of making everyone happy or being fair to everyone.
