Prayers for Berger that it’s not as bad as I have heard. I would hate to see such a great player lose their senior season because of an injury. Also I would hate to see him also miss his senior year of baseball if it does end up being what I have heard Pepe say.

No idea, it was brought up in the Prediction/Update thread.  Hopefully it isn't true. 

What kind of injury did Mitchell have?

I'm not sure how much of a push it was, but it was a Beechwood player/Lloyd Coach.

Why is a Lloyd coach putting his hands on a Beechwood player?

There was a block that turned in to a small scrum on the sideline. It's possible the coach was just trying to break it up? Whether he should have done that or if that's what the intentions were, I'm in no spot to say.

I’m not sure how the playoff formula is now. Which district would we be playing?

I would say any way this is described both Lloyd and Beechwood should be transparent and explain what happened.  Either way, I am assuming it is no big deal.

District 5 is our sister district. District 5 is Walton-Verona, Carroll County, Owen County, Trimble County, Shawnee, and Gallatin County. I have updated my 2A district standings spreadsheet but have to wait until Newport and Holy Cross play tonight to post it.

 Exactly. No big deal. A tackle along the Lloyd sideline and the Beechwood player is trying to get through a crowd of Lloyd players from the Lloyd sideline back to the field. Ref is standing right there helping and no flag thrown. End of story.

I hate this for Berger , prayers it doesn’t ruin a promising college career. It’s moments like this that makes one realize the truly important things in life.   I sure hope he recovers and maybe the scan will show it to be a bruise or something that he can get back from in time to finish out the season, a season he has looked forward too his whole life.
