Just so unfortunate for a kid that means so much to this Beechwood team. I hate this for his Baseball season as well as he is one of the best pitchers in the state. I hope he has a speedy recovery and he is ready for the start of his college baseball career.

Mitchell Berger, you were a great player to watch.  I am a big fan and will continue to follow your career.  Sorry you lost the rest of your senior year.  I hope you only come back stronger.

I hate this. This young man was a weapon for the Tigers. Last year we played Beechwood in Ft. Mitchell and I heard the guy on the PA rave about the hamburgers that they were selling in the concession area…He said something to the effect of “…its the best burger in the area…”

He was not paying attenton to the game because the best burger in the area was playing on the field that night, but spelled B-E-R-G-E-R. We had no answer for him. Tough loss.

I think the fact that so many folks from teams that opposed him on the field are coming out to say how sad they are to hear about Mitchell's injury is a heck of a testament to how great an athlete he is.
