Great game down until the final whistle it seemed.  SK having their QB back and #1 running back is a plus.  Hopefully, they can build off this.  First week back with both playmakers on the field for offense.  6A is wide open right now.  Put in some work this week and get ready for the games that put you in the drivers seat come playoffs.

There is no way you come off back to back bye weeks, double a team’s yardage output while still managing to lose against a 3A team at home and try to claim that 6A is wide open. It may be wide open for some other teams but not SK.

6A outside of Jefferson County may be wide open but the champ is going to come from Louisville and all the rest of the 6A teams are just play playing.

Rare bird for sure.

Scott County only non-Louisville champ in 6A back in 2013. In 4A when big class have to go back to 1996 which was Nelson County. Clark County 1991. Since 1959 no Northern KY team has won the biggest class. I assume some of the great Highlands teams could have won if were in biggest class.

Boone Co reprensted NKY 4 times in the 3 yards and a cloud of dust days, and never won. It’s the biggest city in the state with huge high schools. There were some Highlands teams that could’ve won 4A at any point in the Mueller years , but other schools in NKY it was/is a pipe dream.
