Final Douglass shuts out Scott Co. now for the 3rd time in the series and put a running clock on the Cardinals for the 3rd time in the series as well. Douglass now leads the series 7-3 all-time and have won the last 6 in a row.

I like the honesty. It's obvious the gap between the two programs is cavernous at the moment. The last three meetings have gone 124-7 in Douglass' favor. Having two schools in the county now might prevent the Cards from getting back to the lofty perch they enjoyed before. They have to hope Douglass moves north to 6A soon.

The guys from Scott Co. doing the game said as much during the game last that in talking with Coach if Douglass moves to 6A that the series would probably not continue.

Drop TTUN, join a district of all city teams in 6A, which would open space to hopefully schedule 2 top tier Louisville teams, then either BG or South Warren, and keep Boyle on the schedule. There aren't any other teams in KY that make sense for FDHS to schedule. 

If Scott Co were still a one school county would this be much more competitive and would the win column be reversed?
