Boyle County 31 Henderson County 17

Featured Replies

Like I said earlier, where would Boyle be without Tavey Quisenberry? They would be average in 3A. Tavey is a difference maker on both sides of the ball.

Hendo had it tied in 2nd half.  Surprising.

Boyle didn’t play that great but I think Henderson had a lot to do with that.  They have a really good team.

With Boyle’s current injury woes Quisenberry has been the X factor no doubt. If/when Boyle gets healthy plus Quisenberry, look out 4A.

P.S. they would still be above average in 4A and definitely above average in 3A without him. Not Elite but above average.

At the half BC had 38 total yards to Henderson's (-5)

Henderson County has a really good defense!  That alone will keep them in games down the road.  Could very well win the rest of their games until Owensboro, the last game of the season.

Boyle needed someone to push them and learn where their weakness is.  Henderson County will make Boyle a better team down the road from playing this game tonight.

Henderson County isn’t getting enough credit. They were big, fast and hungry. They punched Boyle County in the mouth early on but the Rebels responded well. This is the game they needed. There was still a lot of points left on the field with the overthrown passes to wide open receivers but other than that you can’t complain too much. When Boyle County gets healthy watch out!!!

Thought Henderson’s defense was stout.

Henderson coach John Boston in my eyes has always done a great job of getting the most out of his defense’s, back when McCracken was rolling in district 1 Henderson was always one of the best defenses they played.

Boyle didn’t play great but yes Henderson came out very motivated and never let up. They’re a very solid team and should put together a real nice season. I agree that Boyle needed this. Everybody has been hyping them up and telling them how great they are. Got a piece of humble pie tonight. Time to get back to work.

"Henderson does have a really good dline.  While Boyle is still thin up front on offense.  May make this one closer.  I still think Boyle's defense makes a lot of trouble for Henderson Co. but Boyle may need to be creative this week to score as well."

This is what I said in prediction thread.  Bowling Green also has a good dline.  Boyle's defense will have to play well next Friday night also.  Sage Dawson needs to make better throws and when he does we need to stop dropping wide open TD passes.  One more wide open drop in the endzone this season and I may have a stroke.
