Is everyone partying at the Pub?

Not much being said about this game.

BIRDS WIN!!!!

Watched the game on Campbell Media here in Southwest Florida.  Video of game was good but the play by play announcer really needs a spotter.  Players and yard lines were called wrong the entire game.

I'll take it.

Incrementally better for sure, but need to continue improving.  Charlie Noon is a baller and needs to be on the field as much as possible offensively, kid just makes things happen.  Hosea ran the ball well and thought Benke looked really solid at QB.  Defense a little better, but need to see versus a stronger opponent.  Now on to Raceland who is obviously a really good small school team.

Bird nation needed this in every way.

About what I thought would happen.

The Birds looked a lot better tonight offensively. The defense still got gashed a few more times than I would’ve liked in the first half. The special teams also looked better. And what a superb job by H kicker with a few fg’s alonh with a couple kickoffs into the end zone. A great kicker can be a weapon.

Always good to get the first win of the year!  Congrats Highlands!

When a Flock of Birds get together, its a beautiful sight!

Big crowd on hand tonight in Claryville.

Longtime Wrestling Coach Mike Bankemper honored at halftime - Well deserved.

First half had the feel of a competitive ballgame.  Highlands drew off.  As an earlier poster stated , Number 87 for Highlands did a job serving as kicker and place-kicker.  The Birds quarterback has a super-quick release.  It was nice taking in a game simply as a social event.
