Probably not too far off for BG.

 

definitely think you’ve got South Warren too high. Everything I’m hearing says they should be lower than Bg.

 

guess we will see.

I got the Bluebirds in 2022! 

This early season matchups are fun. There are some really good ones in 5A. I could see as many as 5 or even 6 of the top 10 losing this week.

I feel like I say this every year but 5A is such a good football class top to bottom.  It is loaded with Blueblood programs, relatively new great programs, talented players, and some of the best coaching staffs in the state.  Even the teams outside of the top 10 that float in the 11-15 range are really good programs with good coaching staffs that can always pull off an upset.

I just hope we don't get fools gold on this South Warren game like last years victory against Bowling Green for Highlands.  I mean I was dancing in the streets after last years Rafferty's Bowl game and then got a big dose of reality after a few weeks, granted injuries to a lot of kids didn't help things.

I just want to see consistency and an upward trend and MOST IMPORTANTLY HEALTH!  These High School kids need to stay healthy.  They lived and breathed football for the last 17 months with Sphire at the helm.....GO BIRDS!!!! #1MARCH

 At the start of the season of one of my sons senior year, someone asked me what I hoped for. He was team captain on a really good football team. My wish was for one thing - good health.  I knew the work he and his teammates had put in and as long as they stayed healthy, it would all be rewarded with a great season and experience regardless of the wins and losses.

Cooper and Highlands should be bumped until they get it figured out.
