Bring out the elephant trunk! That oughta really inspire the Birds to win this one!

With CovCath and Cooper taking it on the chin last night the "big stick" might help in district. Ugh..

This is a sad display of football by the Highlands Bluebirds, wow!

I agree, even if with playing South Warren. Figured they would be better than last year but from what I’ve heard so far, not so sure.

Incomplete brings 4th

highlands to punt

I hope this is a reality check of where Highlands is at. They still have a long way to go, I wish them the best, but some had unrealistic expectations. I hope they build back to the highlands of old, Kentucky High School Football is better when Highlands is great.

I also think maybe the coaching wasn't the only issue at Highlands.

Is this the first or second year for this Highlands coach?

South takes over on own 20 and will run clock out with lead 35-0

I just go by the facts and what I’ve seen.

Just tell it like it is.

Highlands could have their own blooper video out of just this half.

Yep…very sloppy

Boone is gonna come away from week 1 as the number one team in the district. Wonder when the last time was that Boone was top in their district.

Wow so much lack of respect for the Refs, neither team picks up the ball or goes and gets it for the Refs. Hand the ball to the refs, its that simple, show some class.

So tell us what the issues are?

They haven't played any district games yet so I don't want to get ahead of myself here.

Third.

When Sphire was hired, you'd have thought the Birds hired Bill Belichick, the way people went on in Ft. Thomas. Things seem to have gone slightly differently than anticipated.
