I could care less I’m not a Ryle fan but I wouldn’t base one scrimmage off how good or bad a team is because no one knows who they played as far as players or what kind of game plan they called but you do what you want.

If you read my posts I said replacing Belk and Savage is impossible probably the 2 best linebackers in the state last year.

Agreed on replacing Savage and Belk. Losing those two in the middle of the defense is the glaring hole for this team. You can't just turn the page on the production, leadership, and experience those two brought to the table.

Maybe so but last year BE lost twice to unranked teams and only played 2 games against ranked teams, both blowout losses to nationally ranked Male.  This year they only play one preseason ranked team again and that's Male late in the season so will kind of hard to know until they play a really good team.  I do expect them to improve from last yar and could easily make their way up the rankings but will need to beat some good competition to do so, or beat mediocre competition handily.

And I think that's a completely fair and valid assessment/statement.  You do have to prove it on the field not on the message boards.  Based on the 1st 2 scrimmages, I like where Bullitt East is, starting the year off.  Does that mean that the other 2 programs aren't as strong as they typically are or does that mean that Bullitt East is looking at that type of year.  Only time will tell.  The most important thing is how the year ends.

You're correct in the difficulty of replacing both Belk and Savage. However, there is another Savage who is a freshman. I've heard from a pretty good source he is pretty impressive for a freshman.

- It would be easy to point to Madison Central as the top "at-large" team so far. They're unbeaten, with the best win (LCA) of any of the original options. But their schedule strength has taken a nosedive of late.

- Bryan Station had a brutal slate the first three weeks and took their lumps, but the Defenders shouldn't be written off from this conversation. The potential is still there to turn this thing around. You could argue that no other team in this conversation has the raw talent Station does.

I disagree LCA is not the team we expected and I know what you’re going to say their quarterback got hurt. 1. This quarterback wasn’t even on the team last year. 2. If your a great TEAM you still find a way to be competitive which they have not.

I’m probably going with Hendo I think they are the best team out of the options we have to choose from.

Going by Calpreps, LCA is best team out of other teams opponents so why best win. Central Hardin is next best win which Henderson County has.
