spillywilly
I was wondering if anybody else has noticed are maybe it is just the teams I watch. It seems that players these days do not know what there roll on a team is. When I played players had rolls and would follow it and win games. But it seems these days everbody just wants to score. I see more and more point guards looking to score instead of pass, big guys who hate to post up rather throw up the three. (Not good at shooting it) Just on observation wondering what other people think.
Hoops Yoda
I agree - in the "all inclusive" "no spanking" "pat on the back" "parents over-involved" "coaches under-respected" society if a coach was to actually outline the specific roles of the players they have a good chance of being called into an administrator's office so that the parent and the administrator could explain why little Johnny is being repressed.
