While talented by their standards, not on Duke’s level. This year team has five guys that’ll probably be first round picks. Three years ago they had three guys go in the top 10 and another drafted the next season playing solid minutes now in the NBA. For whatever reason it hasn’t fully clicked. 
 

Winning the NCAA tourney is about the silliest/random way to win a title. The fact K had the success he did is amazing.

It’s silly they have to go to college but that’s a whole other thread. 

For me, the best part about this result is that I don't have to hear/read about the conspiracy theories about Duke winning because it's Coach K's final season. It's never that Duke is better or more talented than other teams, it's been "the game is fixed because it's Coach K's final season."

Exactly what I said to my wife at breakfast this morning. Only thing more interesting is listening to UK fans talking about smashing UNC and Kansas. Maybe they should have approached St. Peters with that same energy.

Hear hear again.  What I haven’t heard about is how they lost to Duke.  

And I’m not a crazy Duke fan or even a crazy college basketball fan.   The product is so much more watered down than it used to be.

My better half doesn’t get it when I tell her I don’t care who wins or loses.  I just want to watch good games when I do tune in.  It’s a lot less stressful that way.  And that game last night was a good one.  I’m hoping that KU - UNC will be just as good.

I don’t know any UK fans saying they are better because they beat KU and UNC earlier in the year. They sputtered the last 10 games and got embarrassed by a 15 seed. The results earlier in the year to the title game participants are fascinating given where the three teams finished the season. I wouldn’t read much into it beyond that.

Agreed. I feel like when UK fans bring it up, it's more outta disappointment.
