Final from New Orleans. The Tar Heels will take on Kansas on Monday for the National Championship.

This was a heck of a game by both teams but the Tar Heels just made the key plays down the stretch. Interesting both Coach K's first and last loss of his Duke career were at the hands of the Tar Heels. Also, Coach K's career record vs. North Carolina finishes at 50-50 all-time.

Look who is in the title game. Both played UK. Both got blitzed by UK.

Duke shot only 22% from 3 (5-22) and only 60% from the foul line (12-20).

Coach K finishes his career 50-50 against UNC.

Strange game beat Carolina by 29 and Kansas by 18 at Allen Fieldhouse.

That’s as good a game as you’ll ever see. An absolute slug fest.

First time Kansas has made it to the title game since 2012, where they lost to Kentucky.  Just saying. 

This one lived up to the hype for sure.   Experience and free-throw shooting won the day. 

I would never believe it could have met the hype but it did. 

As for the game.  It looked like free throws were going to cost Carolina but a pair of missed free throws for Duke and a huge 3 for Carolina at the end were the difference in the game.

This game was weird to watch.  I don't like either team, but wanted Coach K to go out of top, kinda.  Yet I found myself pulling for Carolina when they'd hit a big shot.
