Survivor Night!

Sharing some pizza and a beer with dad. He's having a Miller Lite and I'm having something a little crafty and stronger haha!

Maybe I'm biased because of the emotional connection with dad but I feel like this has been a really good season.

I feel like it's has a lot of likeable players. Some great game play. I like it much more than 41. I think its been one of the better seasons in quite some time, excluding Season 40 with all winners and the nostalgia.

Missed all but the first few minutes due to tornado warnings, hopefully it is on VOD tomorrow.

Same.  Trying to find "on-demand" version somewhere.

Damn... I dealt with the missing episode a couple weeks ago. YouTube TV had it in its entirety the next day, so I got lucky.

I can give ya the best recap I can if yall need it, which won't be anywhere near the same but let me know. I will watch again and take strenuous notes lol

I think she spells it Maryanne. It.was interesting because Mike started putting that plan in motion but then wanted to go safe instead. I like that it played out how it did.

Great movie by Maryanne! Got rid of the biggest strategic threat while simultaneously keeping the 2 challenge threats so there is now a pretty easy vote at 5. Basically whoever doesn’t win immunity between Jonathan and Lindsay can be voted out next. So she at least got herself to making fire in final 4 and she also still has an idol!

Totally agree, this has been a much better season than 41 and overall after all is said and done, I think is a top 10 season for sure.

Also forgot to mention, how about Maryanne using Romeo to vote Omar knowing full well he was the decoy boot just brilliant.

Very shrewd. 

Just caught up from the weathered out broadcast last night.  Was watching tonight with hail hitting hard for about 10 minutes. 

Maryanne has now PLAYED survivor.  This was her gold star on the resume.  I think she beats anyone if she in final three, hands down. 

She has matured incredibility quickly in her focus and approach. 

Lindsey is still number two. 

With three idols in hands, does that mean that Jonathon or Romeo are the only ones that can lose the next immunity vote? 

 

 

 

That was well played by both Maryanne and Mike. Mike and Jonathan held to their strategy to vote Romeo. Maryanne played her strategy to use her extra vote along with Romeo to get out Omar. Both got a move they can hang their hat on. Lindsay was sure the odd man out in that one but the power could flip back to her. If we have Mike and Jonathan on one side and Maryanne and Romeo on the other, both will court Lindsay to get to the final 3. Lindsay will likely lean to Maryanne and Romeo because everyone wants to sit with Romeo in the final 3. BUT, we have this wacky idol thing going on.

To answer Bluegrasscard's last question above, Lindsay's idol is gone. It was only good up to the final 6. That is why she made a mistake not letting Omar use it if she truly wanted him to stay. She made a comment in the show about not playing it so another idol isn't put into play, but she might be wrong about that. Previews seem to show another idol being in play. So Lindsay doesn't have an idol but it looks like there might be a search for a new idol next week. If true, that means there will be 3 idols - Mike, Maryanne and whoever finds the new idol. Then you have the immunity challenge. That puts 4 idols in action with 5 players left. Tribal could be moot if there is only one person without an idol. I have a hard time seeing the producers let it work out that way. That makes me question if there will actually be a new hidden immunity idol in play next week.

I think it will be like last season and they are all looking for the final 5 immunity challenge advantage on the new beach, I don’t think there will be an idol.

I hope that's the case.  4 immunity idols in play at the Final Five is lame!
