From the Bengals this morning:

This morning our team is announcing a stadium naming rights partnership with Cincinnati-based Paycor and we want our great fans to hear the news directly. The home of the Cincinnati Bengals is now Paycor Stadium. While our home stadium will take on a new name, the legacy of Paul Brown, one of football’s most influential coaches and founder of the Bengals, will live on forever.

The Bengals are proud of the commitment this strategic partnership demonstrates to continue competing for championships in Cincinnati.

Bengals President Mike Brown said: “This is a move that I think my father would have agreed to. He was always for what is best for the football team. This partnership allows the Bengals to continue to compete at the highest level in the NFL and exemplifies our long-term commitment to the community.”

Executive Vice President Katie Blackburn said: “It was important to find a naming rights partner that strongly aligns with the Bengals brand. Paycor is a local company on the rise that shares our commitment to building winning teams. We are proud to support Paycor’s growth and strengthen the Cincinnati business community with this partnership.”

Paycor Stadium branding will begin to be integrated throughout the stadium in the coming months, with Paycor and the Bengals hosting a ceremony before the season to unveil new branding and celebrate the partnership.

Thank you Paycor but I really wish it didn't have to go this direction, it will always be PBS to me.

  • I think the first move is to sign two or three free agent offensive linemen.

It’s easy to think that this should be the start of a great run. We are young, very talented, and have Joe Burrow. So easy to think fix the line and this could be a magical run. With that said it is s

I just said something similar in the other thread. Don't rely on the draft to fix the offensive line. Rookie linemen are a long shot to help right away, especially drafting late. Sign free agents and/

A few of us were trying to guess the new name.  Paycor was not on the list.

These days I try to mostly keep my mind off the NFL until the games are being played on Sunday.  I am thankful Paycor is supporting our Bengals and I hope this gives us enough money to keep all of our star players the next few years.

This.  Same way it was where the Reds used to play.  It was always Riverfront Stadium...not Cinergy Field.

The lone saving grace, in my opinion, of where the Reds play now, is the fact that the "name" is basically just two adjectives that sound like you're describing a ball park.  If they would've forced "Insurance" into it...it would have lost that.

I wanted Fiona Field at Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens Stadium.

At least McPherson is in mid-season form.

So much for coaching staffs knowing each other and controlling the action.

All it takes is one turd in the punch bowl.

The reports are preliminary but if true I think La’el Collins should face some discipline.

Maybe Aaron Donald too.
