What about those Bunton brothers who played for Male? Henry Bacon? Johnny Matheis?......... It could turn into a litany.

Chad Mefford from Lewis Co. was a very good player as well. He could probably be on the list. Do you agree Big Bopper?

I agree!

Hey Big Bopper, care to give us a list for Tollesboro, I am kinda unfamiliar with the older players. But I would say some possibles would be Chris Harrison, Scott Osborne, Joe Bane, Kirk Ruggles, and Mike Thoroughman? What's some other opinions?

Bellevue- and this is as far back as I can remember which is only 1978.

What about Jason West from the early 90's? You have to add him to the list.

Would this be a "St Pius Bias?"

They were well-coached.......

Boyd County

Phil Pratt

Brad Taylor

Junebug Rakes

Dave Towler

Kent Sisler

Frank Lee

You keep Sisler, I'll take Pratt's running mate, Dave Wooten, at guard.

Larry O'Bannon G/F

Darrell Griffith G/F

Ralph Beard G

Winston Bennett F

Woof!

A lot of great players in this thread, but that is one heckuva lineup.

I wonder who you could surround Wes Unseld with, from Seneca?

Frances

For the Fairview team, I would have to consider Jeff Mullins. Not a bad player in his own right.

Jeff Hall

Mike Helton

Don Rigsby

Jeff Mullins

Bill Nolte

Frances, are you really picking Bammer Nolte over the likes of Big Dave Miller at Fairview?

WOW!! Tough call on that one, Duck. Normally, I would give the nod to Miller, but when you roll in their extended career at the "Y", I'd have to give the nod to Bammer, in a squeaker.

The only weakness Savage had was in picking his friends ... :D

Slick--those 5 sound good to me:thumb:

What about the brothers Ross and Brennan Votel for Cov Cath? Ross tried to walk on at Miami of Florida and Brennan plays for Penn...

You can consider Brennan but not Ross. Unfortunately, he blew out his knee the very first game of his JR year. I think he had the potential to be an explosive inside player.

Would Don Turney Cov Cath early 80s make anyones list. Didn't he playD1?

Yes, Don would. He went to Marshall.
