Bengals 41 Steelers 10

Featured Replies

Final a great game for the Bengals in all accepts of the game today. The Bengals improve to 7-4 next up for the Bengals is the LA Chargers.

I thought the Bengals would win a close one. Never been so glad to be wrong.

The Steelers are bad and will be until they have a new defense and a new QB.

I witnessed a crime today at Paul Brown Stadium.  About 25,000 yellow towels disappeared shortly after halftime.  ?

Well that was fun! Great game all the way around by the Bengals! Before Taylor took over as Head Coach, some of our main complaints was not signing free agents. Game and clock management, playing conservative, not playing well in prime time or big games, not winning playoff games, and just down right getting beat and bullied by the Steelers.

So far Taylor as the head coach has got the Bengals to change their free agent philosophy, and now actually go spend money. The Bengals game and clock management has been overall much better under Taylor. For the most part much more aggressive than they were under Lewis. In their few prime time and big games under Taylor, they have seemed to rise up more and not shrink in the moment. They have now also beat the Steelers three straight times making Taylor now .500 in his games against the Steelers. So Taylor as the head coach has checked off a lot of the complaints many of us had before he took over. Next up hopefully is getting that playoff win and making run for the Super Bowl.

Let's not be drinking too much Kool Aid yet. Man, that complaint list was almost everything but parking and concession prices and quality of the toilet paper in restrooms lol. Much better talent on the OL and several young, talented skill guys. Mixon is a stud when he has some blockers!!

Well, T.J. Houshmandzadeh was in the house today.  Maybe he confiscated them and wiped down the restrooms or something.

Agree on this.   Ben's lack of mobility at this age really hurts them.  And it's a sad state when he can be as ineffective as he was today and they can't make a change because every other option is the same as throwing in the towel.

From Les Dixon on Facebook:

"Steelers fans, follow me if you want to jump on our bandwagon! It’s not too late!!!!"

This all resonates with me.

I'm optimistic about the Bengals and that feels really good.

I agree.

What kind of QB do you think they can get in the draft?  I can see them drafting in the 10 to 15 range.

I think I would be sick if they drafted Ridder.

That Kool aid line is one of the most stupid phrases. It’s simple if you can’t enjoy and be excited when things are going well,  then what is the point in being a fan? So everyone should drink the Kool aid and enjoy it, other wise what is the point?

The complaints I listed were the main complaints people had under Lewis, and was the areas people wanted to see improvement in with a new coach. Taylor has basically been able to do most of the things people were wanting.

I got to go to the game yesterday for my birthday. I was happy that the Bengals won how they did. It is clearly time for Pittsburgh to get a new quarterback though.

I have mixed feelings on the kool aid line, sometimes I think it fits but not in this case.  But then again, I am drinking the kool aid.
