Really looking forward to this matchup. This game will come down to stops and turnovers.

That’s exactly what it came down to 2 years ago. I think Boyle had 5 turnovers which ultimately cost them the game.

  • Boyle and Johnson Central have met 3 previous times.  In 2009 Boyle won at home 49 - 7.  In the return game in 2010, Boyle went to JC and won 36 - 29 (I remember JJ Jude and how tough a runner he was)

  • I absolutely want my Rebels to bring home number 10 !!  I mean I really want them to repeat.  But given the circumstances surrounding JC this season if Boyle is to lose I have to be honest at least it

Ahhhhh, the Chris Cook game.  I remember the game at JC.

Johnson Central is going to be digging deep for this one to honor Matney.

With that said, I don't think the talent level across the board for JC is quite as good on both sides of the ball as we have seen in recent years. They are a very, very good team... don't mistake that.. but I am not sure they have two or three skill guys who can take the game over like we have seen from their best teams.

I think this Boyle team is just a little more skilled. I think if you are going to hurt JC it has to be in their secondary and to this point there hasn't been a team capable of doing that, but with the players Boyle has and with Haddix's scheme... I think Boyle should take this.

What  I will say though, is don't leave the window open for JC as the game winds down.

Boyle 31

JC 21
