After this weekend and the performances in the state games my favorite for Mr. Football is Jagger Gillis from Boyle. Kid is tough and can run/throw it anywhere on the field. Also starts and plays line backer, which you don’t see. Even played on the kick return team some 

I think it will be tough not giving it to Sivori, especially with the way he did it tonight. Passing for over 300 yards and doing it against the #1 team in the state.

Sivori's running was also huge this year, he is a complete QB.

Coach Wolfe said they made it a focus to stop him from running and make him beat them with his arm which is what he did.

Sivori and Isaac Dixon were the biggest winners of the weekend.

What Isaac Dixon did not only was historic, but it also proved there is no player in the State more valuable to his team's success.

Very subjective award as usually 3 or 4 great players that deserve the award but can only pick one.

"Should" is a tricky word. Because could Hergott and Dixon put up those numbers against the teams Sivori had to compete against?

 

Humphreys is very good but too many good players from Championship teams and having a championship is big on the resume'.

Hide the names and just solely look at stats.

I will flip that around and say playing for Daviess County helped Humphreys on the stat side of things. Every opponent St. X played except Butler was better than the best team Daviess County played. That weak schedule helped Humphreys pile up big numbers. So playing for DC actually helped him in that way.

Versus St. X Humphreys was 15-28, 151 yards 1 TD, 1 INT. Also rushed for 46 yards on 10 carries.

Sivori then Hergott.   I don’t think anyone else will be close.
