    That honor for Lamar Jackson is well deserved and fitting!!

    Very deserving, seeing his reaction was awesome. 

    Four years after leaving UL his jersey is retired. Has anyone else at any college had a jersey retired that soon?

     

    Only one that I can think of being that close is Peyton Manning at Tennessee.  But even that was 6 or 7 years.

    The ceremony was awesome. The whole atmosphere changed when Lamar came in the stadium a little before half. I think he was genuinely overwhelmed by it all, and so appreciative. It was a good day.
