I agree. The author was definitely reaching for “controversies.”

There were rumors that the sudden headaches when he left Florida, were due to similar issues as this.

I classify this latest thing as incredibly stupid, but not a reflection upon him as being a poor coach or bad employee. If he wants to parade around with with women 1/2 his age, that’s none of my business. I don’t think NFL players or management should be taking moral high grounds since none of them know about his home life. 

It was the worst move a team can make.   They hired a flashy name, only to find out that the schtick wouldn't work.

The entire situation has been an unmitigated disaster, the jags are one of the worst offenses in the NFL( The side of the ball in which Urban coaches primarily). They have one of the lowest motion rates in the NFL, and  one of the lowest Play action rates in the NFL, both which have a strong correlation with offensive success. Besides the lack of offensive success, the fact he becomes unhinged so easily, hired Chris Doyle as his strength coach, who has many many issues of his own, and the entire Tebow situation, showed how unfit Urban Meyer is to be an NFL head coach. 

Can't remember the commentator, but their theory is Urban did this intentionally because he wants to get fired. Not sure I fully buy that, but I like the take!
