Bishop Brossart has given up just 22 points all season. Teams are just scoring just over 3 points per game against them. Now that’s impressive. What’s your thoughts and opinions?

Highly unlikely.  I’m glad to see that Bishop Brossart has improved recently. With that said, their 6 opponents have a combined 9 wins.  There’s a good chance that Brossart won’t face a team with a record above .500 until the second round of the playoffs, maybe later if they can make it that far.

Brossart's strength of schedule is 26th in class 1A.

Using points allowed as a guide and applying SOS, I would go with Pikeville, Raceland and Russellville as the top 3 defenses in 1A.

Where can you see the SOS?

Looks like on Calpreps Brossart has 25th toughest schedule so far out of 1A teams. Some of those ahead of them are about the same though.

Just saw other post says 26 so I might've been off by 1.

There’s only 32 teams in 1A.  I don’t know if they have NKAC for their scheduling but playing Dayton, Bellevue, Newport, Holy Cross, Ludlow, every year takes up a lot of their scheduling.  Especially now being in a district with Paris, Nicholas and Bracken.

I don't think anyone is faulting them for their schedule.  Just simply pointing out, much like I did, that the competition this defense has faced probably isn't as good as other top 1A schools in the state.

That's what I was thinking. I wonder if it is the combined 4-13 record or the combined average of 15.9 points per game that impresses them more.

Maybe the question here needs to be changed.  Does Brossart have the best defense of all the 1A teams in NKY?

I think that would still be a no. Chances are if NCC played that schedule, they would easily have done the same if not even better.
