- Sam Robinson is going to do Sam Robinson things. He is a leader, the best defensive player and if you ask him to play offense he will be a stud there too.

He is also being smart physically; like when he stepped out of bounds right before half rather than taking a hit. Big progress for him. 

- The last two weeks have been the best offensive play calling I have seen since Coach Mueller. There is balance and aggressiveness. Right before half HHS actually tired to score and did ; that would have never happened under the previous staff. 

- Special Teams coverage teams still leave a lot to be desired. 

- The willingness to play players in multiple positions and on both sides of the ball is awesome to see. Some will question seeing Charlie playing defense, but I cannot stress enough how awesome it is too see the staff being willing to utilize the best players. 

- Benke is tall, fast, has great hands, and can jump. He is going to be a problem for the next 3 years. 

- Running Back is a major issue. I would venture to guess that in the last two games HHS has ran for no more than 125 yards. I hope that Cam Giesler helps that. But either way, HHS desperately needs to improve the run game. 

I think the biggest thing I agree with is Running Back. Where was Richter? Also I loved seeing Robinson back there. Hosea just didnt look like he has that explosiveness you need.

SK scored 38 points?? Good for them-they were nothing but 3 and outs in the scrimmage against CCH.

Noon threw 394 yards 5 tds and ran for 164 1 td. Welch had 8 catch 194 yards.

SK stats

Crone 319 yards 4 tds passing

Williams 10 catch 164 yards at least 2 tds

Lawson 233 yards rushing I believe he scored twice.

Both teams had over 600 yards offense.

Highlands won’t see a QB of Crone’s caliber for the rest of the season. All you have to do is score more points than that other team. 2-0 Baby.

I think Highlands now has people that can do those things that makes an offense dynamic. Playing guys both ways will take a toll in a game last night, but hey, they won. I believe the current coach is a proponent of the they can get 38, as long as we get 39. All is well in the Big FT....at least for another week lol.

He was on the sideline in street clothes. He’s battled the injury bug his whole career.

I agree, but don’t be fooled. Highlands has always had players that could make the offense dynamic; they were just not utilized.

The past few seasons speed was not as good as now and in football, especially HS, speed kills.

The good a cast of players that find a way to win.  Noon did what I expected and Jake is not only lightning fast but can juke and then fly has added to his role and game.  No words for the running game, it needs all kinds of work. I did like Robinson on the flip. Lloyd came up big early, welcome to the party the little train that could. 
 

Defense my oh my I know it was zone gap and different reads but make your tackles finish.  It was a hit and fall off night.  Trust me film is not going to be pleasant for you!!! DB play must get better.  I had a bad angle but how many balls were caught on the backend on the end zone?  Last thought stop resting boys in the third for the 4th quarter.  Look at the mid 3rd quarter stat line it will haunt you.  
 

Congrats on another win!  You need to continue to improve.  For off-season buddy Chase great game kid, SK has to enjoy how you represent!  QB and RB strong keep working wins will come your way!

If I read an early comment right that SK doesnt have much in Seniors, they will be scary good next year!

This is spot on.  No longer trying to fit the square peg in the round hole.  Like what I have seen so far in utilization of the roster.  Running game needs to be better and kickoff team needs a lot of work.  Never been a fan of the squib kick.  If you are afraid of a return then put ten of your best on kickoff team.
