If they were there previously and asked to leave, they should have never gone back the second time, assuming the second time is when the racial slurs were used.

From what I have read two freshman football players were invited to the party and some girl shouted out who let the racial epithets in.  From there more slurs and threats of violence came and the football players went and got some backup.

Hadn't heard that version of the story, which is obviously much different than the version where the football players were at a previous party, asked to leave, and then came back a different night.

Was there an altercation?  If they were calling them the word, I feel like they would have been throwing the hands.  Maybe they kept their cool though?

If there was a brawl has some have alleged, women punch and black eyes....then why was no one charged with assault? 

The charges, as charged have to be a felony as burglary. If the weapons charge isn't proven and no assault charges are forthcoming, then misdemeanor trespassing should be the only charge. Even then only players that actually got out of the car and went on the property could be charged.

If a gun was brandished or pointed at anyone, then that player is looking for a tough way to go. If it was only in his pocket and never used to threaten anyone, he may slide by those charges.

I have never heard of that either.  It seems to me you would always have a small minority that would not honor the policy.
