The players have lost 6 months of development and working out with the team, and have weakened the team by that much.

A stiff penalty for the stupidity of gathering 3 more people and re-entering a place that you "feared for your life."

Right, if I follow their own defense flies in the face of their own defense.  I am saying it should probably be a misdemeanor conviction and move on down the road.

  • Or they do get caught, and their parents have enough money to get them out of it. A basketball player from a prominent school in NKY comes to mind.

I understand doing away with any felonies but that doesn't mean I think there shouldn't be any official punishment.

For what?  It was already investigated and the proper people were punished.

Ehhhh, being called the n word when full of testosterone and youth makes you do things out of character some times.

Admittedly I do not know all the facts but either they were somewhere they were not welcome or they weren't.

And as a UK Fan I am glad it is full steam ahead.

The victim(s) of the racism were invited to and present at the party.

Was anyone charged with "racism" or any similar crime?

At anytime were they asked/told to leave?

And my thinking is if the authorities thought what the 6 did was so egregious that they charged them with a felony, surely they committed misdemeanors.

Unclear.  We do know that the sentence, “who let the n words into the party” is what set things into motion.

The “authorities” had no choice but to apply charges when a large amount of old money walked into the police station saying they were burglarized and beat up by a bunch of up to no good negroes that had a gun.  You don’t need me to tell you how this story plays out.   Apparently when they presented their case the grand jury decided it was a bunch of crap.  Case dismissed.

The system worked.

Give me things that will never happen for $1000 Alex. ?

The jury is in and they have rendered their verdict.  Play ball!
