December 23, 200619 yr LABS, you're usually dead on, but Stevenson was the first sub in the 2nd half at around the 18:00 mark. He had the nice dunk on the assist from Jasper on the fast break. It was a SportsCenter top 10 play this morning!

Jasper and Bradley still had way too many turnovers. Jasper got ripped three or four times just bringing the ball up the court. One last thing......Get the ball to Morris!!!!!!!!

I don't understand yo guys sometimes, in the prediction thread you said "UMASS by 5 and Travis Ford makes a statement, then UK wins by 14 and then could have won by 30....:confused: Again, if you watch the game to criticize play, it will be easy to do in any 3-4 minute stretches, of ANY college basketball game. UK doesn't play a perfect game, they never will....TO's will happen, missed shots will ocurr.

Nothing insightful is added that a half-way intelligent fan couldn't pick up on their own. Also, it seems like Bromley isn't really into it, considering he has to say the same thing after every timeout. Dave Baker is incredibly annoying, but he's manageable if he's on the sideline. And I'll take Macy every day of the week over Newton, and twice on Sunday.
December 23, 200619 yr Still scratch my head over some of Tubby's substitution patterns. Stevenson plays well in the first half, and Im not even sure he played the first 15 minutes of the second half. Porter struggled tonight handling the ball versus UMass ultra-quick point guard. Good win to take into the holiday break. I think the # of minutes in the first half came because of Morris' foul trouble in the first half. And why Stevenson did play well mostly on the offensive end Woo played better on both ends of the court. Very impressive victory for the Wildcats. Tubby sure has done wonders with the defense since Hawaii. Hopefully, he can do the same with offensive ball movement in the 2 a day practices over Christmas break. Joe Crawford mentioned that they were off for Christmas and he was heading home last night. Said he would HAVE to shoot everyday while home and they are to be back in Lexington on 12/26.
