This week the KHSAA is surveying all member schools with varsity football programs. The survey asks schools would they prefer to keep the first 2 rounds of playoffs as is (within your district) or switchover to a format with the first 2 rounds vs your assigned “sister” district.  Whichever carries the vote will be in effect for the 2021and 2022 football seasons. 

I would like to see the sister district then go to the RPI for the Region Championship round. 

Depends on the sister district, ?.  In all seriousness, I think sister district is better.  It made for some interesting matchups when it was this way prior.

Is there a rotation to the sister districts or are the same two districts always paired together? I’m wondering what it will look like if passed. 

Anything is better than playing your own district opponents again two or three weeks after already playing them.  At least to me it is.

I agree.    Variety is the spice of life.

 It is a lot of fun though knocking out your district rival knowing they will never make it past the second round. ?

I vote on Crossover district aka "sister district".   

Best way of doing it is Districts 1&2, 3&4,5&6, and 7&8. Different teams and shortest travel for most part.

I like that idea, but would tweak it a bit.  I would put them in 2 clusters 1-4 & 5-8) & rotate them for a wider variety of teams.  Travel still wouldn’t be too far that way either.
