10 players ejected in Knicks/Nuggets brawl!

Recommended Posts

Just a bunch of overpaid thugs.....if I was one of the fans in the front row who had bodies falling on them, I would sue the pants off the NBA, Madison Square Garden, etc......

Oh by the way..Carmelo is a wuss...a complete piece of trash coward and I am now going into my son's room and taking his poster down. what a loser.

Just another reason not to watch or support the NBA with my time or money. Melo is about as cowardly as they get. And if I hear that "he's just backing his teammates", there are ways to do so and still retain at least a shred of manliness.

I haven't lost any respect for Melo after this or any player in the Nuggets organization. From reports on ESPN, Isiah Thomas apparently ordered the flagrant foul on JR Smith. With 2 minutes to go in the game Isiah told Melo that it wouldn't be a "good idea" to go to the paint. He was mad because with 2 minutes to go the Nuggets had their starting 5 on the floor and were up 19 points!!! If this turns out to be true, Isiah should be sent packing!!! No coach should ever call for a play like that because of what can happen as you saw with that fight!!! Either way, it still isn't acceptable behavior!! I just noticed that no one had mentioned Isiah's role!!!

With more and more instances like this, the NBA is really losing fan appeal, especially parents not wanting their kids to watch adults getting paid millions of dollars to act like fools.
Agreed.....:thumb:

The NBA's image problem, is getting worse both on and off the court.

Just like every other sport. There are 5+ fights a year in baseball. But for some reason the NBA is a bunch over paid thugs??? It happens in every sport. People are just making an example out of it because you guys don't like the NBA.

It was just sad watching Melo hit Collins and then running away to his teammates like a little girl. What a pansy!

First thing I thought too. I saw him land a very weak slap to the side of his head then back up like a little girl running away and hiding. What a loser and pansy!!!!

Carmelo's punch was not a sucker punch. Whoever he hit was sitting there jawing to him and under those circumstances, where punches have already been thrown, you better be ready to defend yourself. Also, I don't buy the "their starters shouldn't be in and they shouldn't be dunking" B.S. It's the NBA, not a 5th grade recreational league. That's just a weak excuse for having a pitiful team and handling it the wrong way.
