I’m pretty sure they are in the same boat as UK and will need to win the SEC tournament.

Will Auburn be dancing?

Pretty sure they're on a self imposed ban and won't be attending the conference or ncaa tournament.

Very happy to see a win today.

Boston is playing better mainly because he has quit shooting that little underhand flip shot in the lane...as much.

Askew still looks afraid to miss a shot. He passes up open shots and many time turns it over afterward when he tries to pass as the defense comes at him. Today he turned down a layup to try a wrap around pass under the basket. He is playing better at times, but he still looks to be playing scared.

He still definitely has those moments, like you just mentioned. However, he does seem to be settling in some lately. Which it is probably not a coincidence that the offense has been playing better lately though, with him doing a better job overall at the pg slot.

Askew is the last 6 games has 24 assists and just 9 turnovers. Which is a lot better than how he has played most of the year.

Boston is his last 6 games has hit 13 of 25 threes. Plus scores 17 or more in four of the last    seven games.

So this team is improving, and hopefully more of these guys stay than people think. If more players stay without going to the NBA or transferring. The makeup of this team could be really dang good.

If, ifs and buts were nuts and candy we'd all have a merry Christmas.

The 2nd half was Kentucky's best half of basketball this year. They played very well until about the last 6 minutes. Then they started making some of those dumb plays again but to their credit they worked enough good plays into the mix to hang on for the win.

They are shooting much better because they are running the offense, getting penetration and kicking out for open shots. When you take good shots, you shoot a better percent. Multiple times in the 2nd half of this game Kentucky ran offense and I said - now that looks like a Calipari team.

RE: 3 point percentage.

The past two games have been ridiculous, and by any metric if sustained would make them the greatest shooting team in NCAA history. We know that’s not them. However, over the last five games they are at 43.5%. That’s not them either, but they are trending in the right direction. They’ve actually moved up 100+ spots through the year, the last couple weeks making huge leaps.
