Anyone have some of the specifics on the special event(s) for opening night on August 24??

Given the events and give aways they had at the baseball game, I would imagine that opening night for the football stadium will be top notch. Should be a great beginning to establishing new traditions.

Flew over the stadium and campus last night. It looks great.

You will not be allowed under the bleachers for bad weather, as apparently the school will be openned for lightning, etc.

Hey, Did any body notice from this aerial shot that the Brothers House in the upper right hand corner above the turn about looks like the #1? That's pretty awesome. I'm sure it was a total accident.

I am sure it was planned.. 100 years ago they said let's build the Brothers House in the shape of Number 1 in case we ever get a field.

JR, the natural surface soccer and lacrosse field was supposed to be power-seeded yesterday, but I'm not as yet sure whether it was completed or not. The schedule is very tight on having that field ready for the commencement of the 2007 fall season.
